Why it matters
Don't be fooled by instant database checks
Half the states in the commercial database contain only incarceration records, not charges or pending trials or not-guilty verdicts. Other records arrive with no disposition at all, so you can see that someone was charged but never learn how the case ended.
An instant check hands you that raw list and calls it a background check. A list of possible matches with no dispositions attached tells you very little.

We go where the records actually live
In addition to the database check, we run an SSN address trace and search every county of residence it surfaces. Our experienced researchers then review the gray-area records by hand, the ones automated systems either miss or get wrong.
Sex offender registry and Department of Corrections records come with the report. We don't sell them as an add-on.

National sex offender registry sources, searched and matched against the subject's identifiers and known addresses.
